The Story

Dorsey Entertainment is a natural progression of a business created by Tim and Teresa Dorsey. It all started with Tim Dorsey in the mid eighties. He decided to pursue a career in singing, and performed his first wedding ceremony in '84. Fast forward a couple of years, Teresa develops an alternate identity, as Awtum the Clown, performing for birthdays, corporate parties, and school events. Along the way, networking with local artists took place, and Dorsey Entertainment formed, booking artists with a focus on quality. Today, we have grown to become the area's booking maverick, offering over 60 artists in a range of categories. The majority of our energy goes to providing superior Wedding Services, especially DJs.
